Deep cleaning for homes
Vacuuming picks up what sits on top. Over time, fine dirt, oils and sand work down into the base of the fibers, and traffic lanes start to look gray. Central Florida adds its own load: sand from the yard and the beach, pollen, and humidity that helps odors linger.
A deep cleaning lifts what the vacuum cannot reach. We pay attention to the spots and traffic areas that need extra work, and we leave the carpet groomed and drying, not soaked. Homes with pets, kids and busy hallways get the most out of a regular cleaning.
Steam cleaning or low-moisture: we do both
We offer both main ways to clean carpet, and we pick the method by the fiber and how dirty it is.
- Steam cleaning (hot water extraction). Our truck-mounted system sends hot water and a cleaning solution into the carpet, then a powerful vacuum pulls the water and soil back out, rinsing as it goes. It is the wetter method, so it usually dries in about 1 to 3 hours, faster with fans. It is the pick for heavy soil, gray traffic lanes and pet urine, which needs flushing out.
- Low-moisture cleaning (VLM, or encapsulation). A solution that traps soil goes on, and a machine with pads lifts the soil out. Very little water goes in, so carpet is usually dry in about 30 minutes to 2 hours. It suits routine cleaning of most synthetic carpet with light to moderate soil, and places that need to be back in use quickly.
Wool gets its own care: as little moisture as the job allows, wool-safe products, a dye test first and fast drying. We look before we clean, and we tell you which method we would use and why.
Carpet cleaning for businesses
Offices, shops, waiting rooms, rental properties and restaurants all take heavy foot traffic. Dirty carpet is one of the first things a customer notices. We schedule around your hours where we can, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, so the work does not get in the way of your business.
For rental turnovers, we can clean between tenants so the unit is ready to show.
The final clean after a dry-out
When carpet has been through a leak, a storm or a fire, drying it is only part of the job. Once the structure is dry, a deep cleaning removes the residue, dirt and odor the water or smoke left behind. It is the step that makes the room feel normal again.
If you are dealing with fresh water right now, start with our water damage restoration page. For soot and smoke odor, see fire and smoke damage.
Pet stains and odors
Pet accidents are one of the most common carpet problems. Fresh spots are much easier than old ones. Urine soaks through the carpet into the pad and sometimes the slab below, so a spot that looks small on top can be much larger underneath. That is where lingering odor comes from.
We look at the whole area, not just the visible stain, and treat it before the main cleaning. Some old urine damage has already changed the carpet color, and we will tell you honestly what to expect before we start.
Area rugs, including silk
We clean area rugs two ways. Many can be cleaned right in your home along with the carpet. Others do better at our shop, so we pick them up, clean them there and bring them back. The shop is often the better choice for heavily soiled rugs, rugs with pet accidents, and rugs that need to dry flat away from foot traffic.
We also clean silk rugs. Silk is delicate: cleaned like wool or synthetic, it can lose its sheen, bleed dye or change shape. We check the fiber and the dyes first and tell you what to expect before we start.
Upholstery, drapes, tile and grout
The same visit can cover more than carpet. We clean upholstery with steam cleaning or low-moisture cleaning, matched to the fabric. We clean drapes on site, right where they hang, and we clean tile and grout so the lines look like tile again.
What we will tell you up front
Most spots come out. Some do not. Stains that have been set by heat, bleached by a cleaner or dyed into the fiber may lighten without disappearing. We walk the carpet with you first and point out anything we expect to be stubborn, so there are no surprises when we finish.
How often to clean carpet in Florida
For most homes, once or twice a year keeps carpet looking good and lasting longer. Homes with pets, small children or a lot of sand tracked in from outside may want it more often. Busy commercial spaces usually need a regular schedule. Between cleanings, vacuum often and blot spills right away.
